For Giving Tuesday, please help raise funds for the Giving Back Kindness Foundation (GBK) which provides health and wellness support for people in need (primarily scoliosis and spine health) through Benefaction/Canada Helps.
The Giving Back Kindness Foundation (GBK) was established on Vancouver Island in 2021.
TOPS is proud to be one of its charity beneficiaries.
Why Giving Matters:
About 2–3% of the world’s population has scoliosis. As many of us know, a curved and twisted spine can cause lifelong pain and mobility issues.
The most common form—Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis—affects youth, and its cause is still unknown.
Without access to specialized education and movement training, many people struggle to manage the condition, leading to chronic discomfort, fatigue, and emotional distress.
The GBK Foundation is helping to change that. Their goal is to:
Raise awareness about the often-overlooked impacts of scoliosis.
Support innovative wellness and back care programs across Canada.
Fund education and resources so that people in need can access life-changing care. Their mission is to support a broad spectrum of health and wellness related projects - with a special focus on back care and scoliosis. The Giving Back Kindness Foundation also assists other charitable organizations with their own initiatives that align with this vision.
